Although spending the holidays in a hotel is not my first choice, there are a few upsides. Getting to spend time with the Chaput's of course being number one. Having a giant indoor pool with a hot tub mostly to ourselves is another. And had we not booked ourselves for 3 nights at the Pewaukee, Wi Radisson (which by the way has the best service and staff of any hotel I've ever stayed at) I would never have gotten this grin inducing shot of Pete's mom providing chauffeur service, via her walker to her youngest Grandchildren.
May 2009 bring us all such good times.
