We found out on Friday that our TA (travel approval) arrived at our agency. This is truly the last approval we need from the U.S. or Chinese government to proceed with our adoption. We are waiting for confirmation on our consulate appt. in China but our departure date should Wed. May 21st. I'm not sure it's completely sunk in yet that in about three weeks we'll be a family of four.
To celebrate, Clara and I decided to set Lu up with some artwork for his bedroom. It was her idea to draw a picture of the two of them eating popsicles. We bought some watercolor paper and some paints and she went to town. Her attention to detail is quite fascinating to both listen to and watch in action, I think we may have quite an artist in the family! It made her feel really good to be a part of getting Lu's room ready, her little face just beamed when we framed her work and hung it up.

Hmmmm... Is Clara for hire as a decorator? We could sure use her here. Can't wait to see the room in actual use. We will be on summer break when you return, so feel free to call with any requests!
